Changing your Organisation

There may come a time when you need to change your Organisation in Life QI, to align with your current workplace.

Firstly, you will want to leave your previous Organisation

To leave an organisation:

Step 1. Login to Life QI.

Step 2. Click the Organisation that you would like to leave from your start page, or select Organisations from the left hand side of you page and then choose your Organisation.

Step 3. Click the Members panel on the right

Step 4. Click your name from the list

Step 5. Click the down arrow

Step 6. Click the Remove membership button

Step 7. A warning message will appear asking if you are sure you want to leave. Click OK.

You have now left that organisation.

Next, you will want to request to join your new Organisation

To join a new organisation:

Step 1. Click on 'Organisations' in the left hand panel.

Step 2. Type the organisation name the you would like to join in the search bar on the right hand side. 

NOTE - Make sure to un-check any filters that may be applied before you search for the organisation to prevent your search results from being hidden.

Step 3. Click on the organisation that populates in the main window .

Step 4. Click the Members panel on the right hand side of the screen

Step 5. Click Join organisation. The Requesting membership window will pop up. Type in your role and select the permissions you would like. You can select either View or Edit. Admin is not available at this point

Step 6. Click the 'Confirm & request' button and your join request will be sent off to the organisation's admin user(s) to review.

Once the administrators make a decision you will receive an approval/rejection email. If accepted to join the organisation, it will then appear in your profile.
