Permissions compared at Project, Group, Programme and Organisation levels

Permissions in Life QI can vary depending on the part of the system you are working in. A User with Admin permissions at Project level, will not have the same permissions as an Admin at Organisation level for example.

Permissions on Projects

  • View - Members with view access can view all data on the project.
  • Edit - Members with edit access can edit all data on the project, with the exception of managing members.
  • Admin - Members with admin access can edit all data on the project, including managing members.

Permissions on Groups

  • View - Members with view access can view all data on the projects within the Group and the Group itself.
  • Edit - Members with edit access can edit all data on every Group project as well as the Group itself, with the exception of managing members.
  • Admin - Members with admin access can edit all data on every Group project as well as the Group itself, including managing members.

Permissions on Programmes

  • View - Members with view access can view all data on the projects within the Programme and the Programme itself.
  • Edit - Members with edit access can edit the Programme itself, edit Programme projects, create a project, with the exception of creating project teams and managing members.
  • Admin - Members with admin access can edit all data on every Programme project as well as the Programme itself, including creating project teams and managing members.

Permissions on Organisations

  • View - Members with view access can view all data within Groups and Projects under the Organisation.
  • Edit - Members with edit access can edit the Organisation itself, edit Organisation projects and groups, create a project from the Organisation or Groups of the Organisation, with the exception of managing members.
  • Admin - Members with Admin permissions at the Organisation level have an advanced level of access to the platform and control who has access to Life QI. As well as being able to edit all Projects, Groups and Programmes within the Organisation, they can also delete them. They have access to the Admin area of the platform where they can send bulk invites to new users, verify new user accounts, and manage the allocation of user licences.
